Welcome!   I’m Michelle Harder—a psychologist based in Calgary with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals on their healing journeys. I specialize in Trauma and Addiction, and I utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Internal Family Systems in my approach.   My approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and creating a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you're working through past trauma, struggling with addiction, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

How I Can Help

I'm passionate about helping people heal from trauma

Every person’s journey is unique, and so is the path to healing. Whether you're navigating past trauma, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking greater connection within yourself, know that you don’t have to do it alone. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration—creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly seen.

Here are some modalities I utilize to help support your healing and growth:

-Polyvagal Theory

- Accelerated Resolution Therapy

-Internal Family Systems

-Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

-Safe and Sound Protocol

I consider it a deep privilege to walk alongside those who are ready to explore their inner world and move toward healing. Whatever brings you here, I’m honoured to be part of your journey and to offer guidance, tools, and compassion along the way. Healing isn’t linear—but with the right support, it is possible.

“We acknowledge we are on the sacred lands of Treaty 7 territory, a place that has been cared for and walked upon by generations of Indigenous Peoples. We acknowledge and honor the Blackfoot Confederacy — including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations — the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nations of Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley. We also recognize the enduring presence of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

With humility and gratitude, we recognize that this land is not ours — it is a living, spiritual being that sustains us. We give thanks to the ancestors and knowledge keepers who have walked these plains and protected their sacred teachings. May we walk gently, listen deeply, and act with respect and responsibility in the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and right relations.”
